Sea Salt Chocolate Caramel Cookies

If you like brownies and caramel, you’re going to love these cookies. A good friend shared the easy recipe with me over the weekend and they were a BIG hit with my family! This elf approved snack pairs well with hot cocoa, or ice cold milk, according to the top brass in Santa’s Workshop. Here you go! Merry Christmas!

Sea Salt Chocolate Caramel Cookies

Ingredients:

  • brownie mix

  • 1/3 C. oil

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 C. flour

  • Werther’s Soft Caramel Candies

  • sea salt (reserve for topping)

Directions:

  • Mix brownie mix, oil, water, eggs and flour well

  • Roll into balls place on cookie sheet

  • Press a dimple in cookie ball with finger

  • Bake at 350 for 7 min.

  • While cookies are baking press carmels to approx. a quarter shape and size.

  • When cookies come out press dimple again in cookie.

  • Immediately place Carmel in dimple and sprinkle with light salt.

  • Place in oven for 1 min.

  • Remove from pan and place on cooling rack.
