Home and Garden Design Books

Welcome to my wish list of home and garden design books this season. My taste has evolved over the years from traditional to French country, with a touch of Tuscan and an eclectic mix of art from places we’ve traveled to. Our home is a blend of family heirlooms and classic pieces that can stand the test of time. Chic and cozy but nothing too fussy. I like to live my life in color, with subtle patterns, a mix of blues, creams, beige and pops of red. The first thing I do when I move into a new space is bring the outdoors in with live plants and flowers. I consulted with my designer and gardening friends to help narrow it down to our top ten. I think any of these books will help me continue to create sacred spaces for my family to gather for years to come. Need more inspiration? Check out my story “Creating Sacred Spaces.” Click on any book for a link to purchase. Not sure what your style is and need more info on the designers themselves? Scroll down for bios and links to websites of all of the authors featured here. Enjoy!

Gardening is good for the soul and plants liven up any space inside or out!
