Snickerdoodle Cookies
Snickerdoodles are a family favorite in our home. If I close my eyes I can imagine the heavenly aroma of cinnamon and sugar, as I pull these fresh baked cookies out of the oven. My nephew recently requested I fill up the homemade cookie tin I gave him a few years back with a batch of these. He even drew me a picture of them to seal the deal. How’s that for melting your heart? Who could say no? Here’s the recipe I’ve perfected over the years, that combines butter and shortening for the perfect texture of a snickerdoodle. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy!

Zabelicious Tip:
Place a piece of bread inside of your cookie jar to refresh cookies that may harden after sitting too long.
