Basking in the golden glow of fall vibes today, I’m feeling the urge to jump in the leaves and soak up the sun before autumn is done. How about you?
Fall is a magical season of change that provides the opportunity for many annual traditions. Here are a few of our family’s favorites you might enjoy if you haven’t already. There’s still plenty of time to embrace autumn’s blessings before all of the trees are bare and the snow is falling instead of the leaves. Let’s go!

Jump in the leaves!
Fall festivals-Bayfield Apple Festival, Oktoberfest in La Crosse, Cedarburg, or New Glarus.
Visit an apple orchard-Minnesota’s Apple Jack’s and Aamodts Apple Farm along with Wisconsin’s The Elegant Farmer, and Apple Holler have all been voted best in the U.S.
Pick your own pumpkins-Ferguson’s has been voted best pumpkin patch and apple orchard in Wisconsin; with four locations to choose from in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Explore a corn maze-Wisconsin’s Treinen Farm and Sever’s Corn Maze in Minnesota have both been voted best in the U.S.
Take a hayride-Minnesota’s Dead End Hayride win’s top honors as one of the best haunted ones in the U.S. and sells out quickly!
Go on a nature hike or bike ride.
Bake my pumpkin muffins or apple crisp
Build a bonfire and roast marshmallows.
Whip up a batch of my chicken chili, wild rice chicken soup , beef stew, or butternut squash soup.
Host a fall open house, murder mystery or costume party.
