Healthy Shamrock Shake

Shamrock Shakes have been a St. Patrick’s day tradition ever since our kids were little. I’ve been trying to create a healthy recipe for years. I did some taste testing in my very Irish friend’s kitchen on the eve of St. Patricks’ Day. I think I’ve finally hit my pot of gold here. It’s healthy, dairy free, unless you add whip cream and it’s Zabelicious! Even the littlest leprechaun’s will like this one. They won’t notice the healthy greens! As with most recipes, I improvise, so measurements are not exact. I invite you to do the same. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Healthy Shamrock Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Milk Frozen Dessert Vanilla Bean(I used So Delicious)

  • Almond milk

  • Banana (sliced)

  • Spinach (handful

  • Mint (a few sprigs)

  • Vanilla

  • Mint extract

  • Honey

  • Whipped Cream

  • Mini carob or chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients and top with whipped cream and mini chocolate or carob chips and garnish with mint.
