Grounded in Nature
Sit back and relax, as we take you to the shores of Minnesota’s beautiful Bald Eagle Lake. Experience stunning sunsets and lakeside yoga, with Beth LaBreche as our guide.
The PR trailblazer shares some favorite nature photos and her love of bringing yoga outside. LaBreche says she feels grounded in nature.
“I appreciate nature more now that I know what it does for my well-being. There’s nothing like a long walk, or yoga and some fresh air to reduce stress.” LaBreche says she finds even more peace and tranquility on the water. Welcome to her slice of heaven on earth.
The successful entrepreneur says she found her true calling, when she got certified as a yoga instructor after 50. Now she's in the best shape of her life both mentally and physically.
“I love doing yoga in the summer in the park and on lake docks in White Bear Lake. Yoga outside in nature seems more natural and freeing, “ says LaBreche, who doesn’t let a little snow stand in her way of holding class outdoors for Zen Fitness and Wellness. Minnesotans are tough yogis , who look forward to melting the Midwest winters away with spring sunshine. The Zen community connects people through sweat, dedication and guidance. Supporting small businesses like Zen that help members reach fitness goals and grow is second nature to LaBreche, who is certified in restoration yoga and barre. She creates a sacred space on the mat inside for gentle yoga or challenges clients with the practice of aerial yoga. Although she can master yoga in any weather, she celebrates summer above all seasons.
“Summertime is my favorite, Once the sun is out, you’ll find me walking our dog, Bear, or laying in a hammock, soaking it all in.”
Unless the dog beats her to it. In that case, it’s always wise to have a back-up portable option.
Bear also commands first mate status on their boat. Can you blame him?
LaBreche says her ideal days are spent outside, from dawn through dusk all summer long, on or near the water. Bear agrees, lake life is where it’s at.
