Almond Butter Peach Smoothie

Start your day off with a protein packed smoothie that’s so yummy it almost tastes like dessert. My almond butter peach smoothie recipe was inspired by one I had at a local coffee shop. As with all of my recipes, I tend to improvise, so no two smoothies are ever the same. Use the freshest ingredients you have available for this healthy, delicious breakfast that’s sure to satisfy you after a hard workout. Blend it up before you hit the gym so it’s ready to take on the road!

Almond Butter Peach Smoothie Recipe:

  • Almond milk (vanilla flavored sugar free)

  • Almond butter (I used Barney Butter)

  • Frozen peaches

  • Fresh or frozen bananas

  • Nutmeg to taste

  • Cinnamon to taste

*If you don’t have almond milk, substitute vanilla yogurt & thin out with a little water

*If you don’t have vanilla flavored almond milk or yogurt, use plain and add vanilla

Blend and serve, with an extra sprinkle of the spices. Garnish with a peach slice.
